BIOGRAPHY

Annette van den Bosch was born a child in the sign of Capricorn during the night of 22nd March 1956 in the Lieve Vrouwengasthuis in Zaltbommel. This hospice has, sadly enough, closed down, for it is still a beautiful building, in- as well as outside. Her parents had moored off for the delivery, because her father was an inland shipping captain. Annette works and lives in Zeist near the woods, together with her husband Hans. She writes poetry primarily for the internet and can be found on sites such as Meander (of which she is an editor, and analyses poems for), Dichtersweb, Schrijfnet, Poetry Alive!, dichtboard and Schrijverspodium. In Zaandam she came second in the First Zaandam Poetry Festival. On paper she published in 'Er is…', the successor to 'Sirene' magazine. On 27th January 2002 ten of her poems were published in an anthology by Stichting Literair Landschap Eindhoven.

On 1st July 2002 her first book of poetry appeared, Handzaam geaard (Conveniently Tempered; Digitalis, Utrecht, ISBN 90-8071961-7). It is available in all good bookshops and at a reduced price through www.taaldigitaal.nl.
