23 SQUADRON - (Night)Fighter, Bristol Blenheim Mk. IF

In December 1938 conversion to Blenheims took place and these were given a night fighter role when war broke out. After defensive duties during the early stages of the German attacks, No 23 began intruder missions over enemy airfields in December 1940.
